Laneea Tolley
December 17, 1959 – August 4, 2018
American Painter and Illustrator, Laneea
Tolley, was a self-taught artist that created masterpieces in oil, acrylic and
watercolor embellishing the world of the twenty-first century. She began drawing images since childhood and
her imagination would soar from there, showing she was predestined for
greatness. Laneea realized that God
granted her this artistic gift so she decided to pursue her protruding passion
of art full
time in 2004; hence ArtByLaneea was
established.
Laneea’s artistic style is immersed in
diversity, she continually changed her techniques and subject matters in order
to construct her contrasting visual perceptions. This passion cascades onto individuals
causing her riveting and powerful messages to sculpt her audiences into art
lovers.
With a world saturated with technology,
some believe that fine art’s time has elapsed; Laneea chose not to have that
view so by honoring her commitment to art she taught private and public
lessons to people of all ages. Her brilliance to choose a dynamic paradigm
caused an important impact on replenishing and reinforcing the Art World for
current and future generations to come.
